In 2013, he was recognised with the Malaysian Service Medal by the Prime Minister and named one of Asia’s Top 10 entrepreneurs and Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. |
Bryan Loo sparked the bubble tea’s surge in popularity when he brought the Chatime franchise to Malaysia. He is the founder, CEO and Managing Director of Loob Holding Sdn Bhd. His flagship brand Tealive operates over 520 outlets globally. Christopher Leong Sau Foo is the Managing Partner of Chooi & Company. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (IDEAS), a non-profit public policy research institute in Malaysia. Dr Dzaharudin Mansor is currently the Head of Security Assurance, Malaysia at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He is an experienced Chief Technology Officer and Adjunct Professor with a demonstrated history of working in the computing technologies and services industry since the early 80s. Prof Dr Sim Kui-Hian is currently Deputy Premier of Sarawak, Minister for Public Health, Housing & Local Government Sarawak, and a member of Dewan Undangan Sarawak for N14 Batu Kawah since 2016. He was a member of the Senate, Parliament of Malaysia from 2014-2018. Dr Sim graduated from Monash University in 1990 and completed his cardiology fellowship in 1997 at Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne, Australia. He was the inaugural Head of the Department of Cardiology, Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) in 2001 for more than 10 years as well as the inaugural Head of Clinical Research Centre (CRC) of SGH in 2003. Currently, he is Visiting Senior Consultant Cardiologist of Sarawak Heart Centre (SHC), and Adjunct Professor, the Faculty of Medicine & Health Science, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) since 2004. He is past President, Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology (APSC) 2013-2015, past International Governor Steering Committee (Asia Pacific region) the American College of Cardiology 2012-2015; past Board Member of World Heart Federation 2012-2014; past Executive Committee, Asian Society of Cardiac Imaging (ASCI); Advisor and Past President, National Heart Association of Malaysia (NHAM) 2008-2014, past Secretary General, Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (APSIC). | |
Tan Sri Hamidon Ali is the former Ambassador of Malaysia to the United Nations and the first Malaysian to be appointed President of the United Nations Economic and Social Council. YB Tuan Lim Guan Eng is a current member of the Parliament of Bagan and member of the Penang State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Air Putih. He was the former Minister of Finance and Chief Minister of Penang. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Ranjit Ajit Singh is the Partner and Director of Centennial Group International. He is the expert advisor to the International Monetary Fund and a Leadership Council member of the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network Malaysia. Safaath Ahmed Zahir is a leading women’s rights activist in Maldives. She is the founder of Women and Democracy and co-founder of Women on Boards. In 2017, she was named one of Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Asia and recognised by the United Nations for her work. She was presented with the Queen’s Young Leaders Award in 2016. Professor Dato' Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman is the Chief Executive Officer of Monash University Malaysia and Pro Vice-Chancellor and President (Malaysia). She dedicated her life’s work to the prevention, treatment and research of infectious diseases and HIV/AIDS. She is the Chairman of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation, President of the International AIDS Society, and a member of the WHO Science Council, UNAIDS Advisory Group and WHO Academy’s Quality Committee. For her contributions to medicine, she received the Merdeka Award in 2008 and Mahathir Science Award in 2007. | |
Dato' Dr Rozali Wathooth is one of Malaysia's pioneering cardiothoracic surgeons. He founded the country's first open-heart unit at Hospital Kuala Lumpur in 1982, where the first open-heart surgery was performed in April and the first coronary artery bypass in October. He later went on to start the country’s first private open-heart unit at Subang Jaya Medical Centre. He is currently the Chairman of IJN College. | |

Kimberly Wan is a figure skater and national ice hockey player. She is the Malaysia Book of Records holder for the ‘Youngest female to achieve the highest skating level in Malaysia’ and was the first Malaysian linesman to officiate the Women's Challenge Cup of Asia tournament in 2013. |
